Krullevaar bouwt langzaam uitgesponnen werelden vanuit drones en herhaling. Hypnotiserende riffs worden meditatieve mantra’s voor het steeds voorwaarts stuwende trio, begeleid door schitterende visuals van Claire en Abi Meekel. Prrr… ta lie loe!

Krullevaar constructs slowly drawn out worlds based on drones and repetition. Hypnotising riffs become meditative mantras for the continuously forward driving trio, accompanied by Claire and Abi Meekel’s dazzling visuals. Prrr… ta lie loe!

Drone folk, drone rock, minimalism

GNOT

GNOT zoekt al improviserend een weg door psychedelische noise, drones, metal, tribal riddems, bluesrock en puur experimenteel geluid. Dat klinkt als nogal wat en dat klopt helemaal! De band gaat al wat langer mee en speelde door de jaren heen in diverse bezettingen, live vergezeld van dansers, dichters, performers, brainmachines, bellenblazers, zweepact en hypnotiserende projecties. Teruggebracht tot de kern bestaat het voor dit optreden uit een drietal muzikanten plus VJ Eyedevil - maar evengoed opent dat heel wat deuren der waarneming. GNOT is Peter Verzijl - gitaar, Robin Maas - gitaar en Arjan van Sorge - drums.

GNOT improvises its way through psychedelic noise, drones, metal, tribal rhythms, blues rock, and pure experimental sound. This sounds like quite a lot, and it absolutely is! The band has been around for a while and has performed in various lineups over the years, accompanied live by dancers, poets, performers, brain machines, bubble blowers, whip acts and hypnotic projections. Reduced to its core, for this performance it consists of three musicians plus VJ Eyedevil—but that still opens a lot of doors of perception. GNOT is Peter Verzijl on guitar, Robin Maas on guitar, and Arjan van Sorge on drums.
