Walter’s Happy Few

A six piece formation hailing from Amsterdam. Fronted by Christoph Walter the band finds its inspiration in the musical legacy of Britpop and Country. An arranged marriage between Oasis and The Eagles would have had Walter’s Happy Few as its first born with Tom Petty as godfather. Their songs are ranging from bittersweet acoustic ballads to flat out jumpin’ jack flash overdriven bangers that make you want to order a couple more beers.

The Happy Few have an energetic presence that works contagious and brings a smile to any worried face. Christoph’s brother Philippe is a solid foundation on the bass and performs backing vocals, Zafar knocks the drums out of the park, Valentijn shreds the guitar like there’s no tomorrow, Jon is another axe swinger with a kill switch and a ‘are you ready for this’ face, Rokas is the unmissable cherry on top playing we don’t know exactly what but you will want more.

Walter’s Happy Few provide a musical journey that can put a tear in your eye and a tequila in your hand. Catching the Walter’s Happy Few fever makes you think about the past and look forward to the future whilst being in the moment as one could ever be.
