Parkland Music Project is an ongoing collaboration between Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Rob Malowany and a global cast of adventurous musicians. In the fall of 2023, Malowany travelled to Amsterdam to record a new album with the help of guitarist Jasper Stadhouders, drummer Onno Govaert, keyboardist/violinist Marielle Groven and contrabassist Aaron Lumley. The resulting double LP, "Stoic Creatures," places Malowany's passionate voice and heart-laid-bare songwriting in ecstatic free jazz and shoegazing post-rock arrangements.

On November 15 2024, Parkland Music Project will present the Amsterdam premiere of "Stoic Creatures" with a special concert and live recording session at Zaal 100.
