Hello we are Halli Crigi and we are organising a show for YOU! We have sprokkled a fantastic line up together to celebrate the summer and we hope you will come out to have a wonderful night to listen and do a dance with us.

The night will open with a composition by Luka called Snare Drum Static, a hypnotic set full of drum rolls and noises. Then we will have Arnold de Boer playing solo as Zea. You can just never go wrong with Zea, check him out. After that, we will play a set with Alexandra Dragne joining us for live visuals. DJ HEXEX will close the night with a banging party! The lovely Zaal 100 is hosting us, which is also the place where we played out last Amsterdam show. Sounds good? See you there!

SNARE DRUM STATIC
Snare Drum Static is Luka Schuurman’s drone interpretation of a marching band, stretching a drum roll to time-bending proportions and exploring all kind of hidden microrhythms and overtones.

ZEA
Arnold de Boer (Zea, The Ex, Makkum Records) started his musical career as a singer and guitarist halfway the nineties with setting up Zea. At first a five-piece band, later a duo and since 2009 a one-piece band working together with different musicians per album and live set-up. Zea has released seven full length albums. The last one, called SUMMING, in combination with pianist and improviser Oscar Jan Hoogland (MR29, 2020).
In 2009 De Boer was invited by legendary Dutch underground band The Ex to become their new singer and guitarist. So far, he has released four full length albums with the band. The last one is called 27 Passports and was released in 2018.
De Boer has been releasing his own output and a wide pallet of headstrong music from all over the world on his own Makkum Records label for more than ten years now.

No scripts, no beforehand arrangements, just five of a kind trying to draw again like only children can, using prepared guitar and drums, and other toys at our disposal.

HEXEX is een DJ trio bestaande uit Aya en Noortje Dupont, en Linus Louwes (VJ). Gekleed in lakleer bewegen ze je met industrial slutpop. Linus kan er vanavond niet bij zijn en Noortje ook niet maar Noortje komt waarschijnlijk wel later maar misschien ook niet...
