Droste Effect takes Irish, Balkan and Klezmer music and turns it to face itself. Looking back at ourselves, disappearing into infinity there’s melody inside soaring melody, infectious groove inside complex metres, harmonies inside dissonance; a journey inside a journey, and a story within a story. And all this soaked in Psychedelia and Jazz, pickled with Indian Rhythm and delivered with vibrant virtuosity and urgency. And they make it look like it’s easy - for them.
