Free jazz trio & electro-acoustic duo
Bioluminus is an Amsterdam-based free jazz trio formed in 2021 by Argentinian saxophonist Ada Rave, Canadian contrabassist Aaron Lumley and Dutch drummer Onno Govaert. The group's music combines the propulsive flow of
energy music with a subtly attuned approach to collective improvisation. Bioluminus has performed at venues across the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Their debut self-titled cd was released on dOEK Raw recordings in late 2023. Of the group, Rinus Van Der Heijden for JAZZ NU writes, "The combined strength, craftsmanship, imagination and the courage to strip music of all kinds of frills, make Bioluminus an extremely interesting contemporary gem."

death telephone is an electro-acoustic duo based in Amsterdam. Their immersive sound world is constructed through the acoustic sound sources of alto saxophone and piano, manipulated through feedback systems and live sampling. They exist in the intersection between the human and the machine; like a musical cyborg the physical bodies and instruments find new pathways through technological means, unraveling and observing the fringes of their musical language and human limitations with a poetical lens. Material and ideas are repeated on a microscopic level in which they seek resonance and destruction, creating bleak and melancholic soundscapes that ambulate between sparse minimal sounds and ecstatic outbursts akin to noise music.
